My fruit tart always makes its rounds during the fun summer months. You can make it with berries, apples or tropical fruits. I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as my family does.

Fruit Tart
Shortbread Crust:
2 C. All- Purpose Unbleached Flour
1/2 C. Powder Sugar (confectioner's sugar)
1 C. (2 sticks) Soft Salted Butter, if using unsalted butter, add a pinch of table salt
Bake @ 350 degrees, 15-18 minutes or until slightly brown around the edges and on top
*Let completely cool before topping with cream*
Tart Cream, aka fruit dip, tart filling
1- 8. oz Package of Soften Cream Cheese
1- 7. oz Tube of Marshmallow Cream
Fruit ~1-2 lb. each depending on how much fruit you want on your tart. If you are doing 2-3 fruits, 1 lb. each should do.
Strawberries
Blueberries
Blackberries
Raspberries
Tart apples (like a Granny Smith)
Pineapple
Kiwi
Mango
Mandarin Oranges (drained, if using from a jar or can)
