I’ve made a lot of meat pies in myifetime…and received a lot of compliments for them, but this past week I made this and everyone who got to taste it think it is the very best. I hope you enjoy it too💕🙏🏾
Ingredients for filling:
1.2lb beef chopped in tiny pieces (I used beef flap meat)
1 cup diced potatoes
1.4 cups diced onion
1 cup diced carrot
1 stock cube
1 teaspoon salt
1.4 teaspoon garlic ginger paste
1 teaspoon white pepper
4 teaspoons vegetable oil
1.5 teaspoons corn starch
Ingredients for crust
500 grams all purpose flour (approximately 3 1/4 cups)
227 grams salted butter
3/4 cups milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt.
1.5 teaspoon grated onion
(I made two batches of crust for the amount of filling I had)
