The Stark County Sheriff's Office says it is seeking a suspect in connection with the disappearance of a Plain Township woman.
Authorities say they were called to the 4100 block of Orchard Dale Drive Northwest just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday to help search for 24-year-old Raychel Sheridan, who was not located in either the home or the surrounding area. While there, deputies saw a maroon Jeep Liberty believed to be registered to Sheridan driving on Guilford Avenue Northwest, and they attempted to pull the vehicle over.
According to officials, deputies made brief contact with the driver before he ran off. The officers chased after him and deployed a K-9 to search the area, but the man was not found.
The suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Sean Goe, also of Plain Township. He is currently wanted for questioning regarding Sheridan's disappearance, and also has multiple felony warrants out for his arrest (including one for domestic violence).
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of either Goe or Sheridan is asked to immediately call the Stark County Sheriff's Office at (330) 430-3800. Stay with 3News for any updates on this story as they become available.
