Nine-year-old Australian Mia Kretzer has shocked the world, becoming the youngest X Games gold medallist in history when she won the women’s skateboard vert best trick in California.

Perth-born Kretzer landed a 720 on the second of five attempts to finish in first place as the youngest competitor in the field.
