Gear: Rotopax DLX mount on Outback Motortek Pannier Frames on a Honda CRF300 Rally
Long title! Apologies. This is my video of fitting a 1 gal/3.8L Rotopax fuel can to my Honda CRF300 Rally using a Rotopax Deluxe (DLX) mount, Outback Motortek pannier frames with an X-Frame, and then trying to fit my Enduristan Monsoon Evo pannier at the same time.
I look at the fuel can itself, and in particular, the novel locking spout, weighing things, fitting and fettling to make it all work.
It all worked out in the end though I think that perhaps I should be using the round mount base that came with the DLX mount just to make the fuel tank stand off the pannier frame enough to fit the panniers without having to loosen the fuel tank. I'll have a play with that and put it up as a Wednesday short if it changes anything.
Thanks for watching.
