Raspbian Wheezy is being used to run PianoBar.
First download Pianobar. I done this by using the OS gui and going to the pianobar website with the Midori Browser. Then download the Source Code.

Next we need to get the dependencies for the code. Copy and paste the following command into a terminal.
sudo aptitude install libao-dev libgnutls28-dev libmad0-dev libfaad-dev libjson0-dev libgcrypt-dev
After the download of pianobar. You need to unzip the file. Type the following command into a terminal. The name of the pianobar file will change, so just match the name with your file name.
sudo tar xjf pianobar-2012.12.01.tar.bz2
Next go into the pianobar directory.
cd pianobar-2012.12.01
After making sure the dependencies have successfully installed on the Pi. We will build pianobar. Type the following:
sudo make
Then after it has completed type:
sudo make install
After that has been completed we can start PianoBar. Just type:
pianobar
It will ask you to log in. Then choose your favorite station and enjoy.

One problem you may into is that the OS is out of date. Simply type:
sudo apt-get update
