There's 1366 monsters in multiplayer, 1364 in single player, 435 of which are Lost Souls. Wouldn't have a clue where the 2 additional monsters are. Edit: The two additional monsters are hell knights in the southwest room.
This map I restarted multiple times and abused RecordFromTo to no end, especially when I found a new route. I even slowed the game clock rate down to 5 percent and used the full AutoMap in places to help with some tricky dodging. I normally record at 10 percent speed, hence the spinning to look at and track those narrowly dodged rockets while reloading the SSG.
I am no Doom God. If I were to play this map properly it would be with saves and a be lot slower. With a lot more dying. This goes for the rest of my runs too. Blink and you'll miss a few things.
The most frustrating bit would have to be all the Lost Souls when grabbing the rocket launcher in the Southwest room. There's not enough rockets to deal with them efficiently so the best thing to do is just run away. Kill them with rockets when they bunch up and ignore the individuals.
Getting into the yellow and red buildings via the caves and cliffs instead of the obvious paths feels faster and more efficient. The obvious paths would involve lots of back-tracking into areas I already cleared. The blue and purple buildings are the exception. Had to get them Lost Souls to disperse and collect more ammo to finish everything off.
