The “supported tack” and jibe (gybe) is one of the zenful circuits I run to improve my winging skillz. The wind was up and down on this day, but speed is definitely your friend in the tack when you turn into the wind. In the tack and jibe and I think to myself two simple things: 1) foil first through the turn, 2) and then power up with the wing. As the motion becomes more natural, you can use the wind to power yourself through the turn with a duck jibe or wing dip.
