A 34 years male presented to Jaypee Hospital, Noida in December, 2019 with locally advanced cancer in the left side of tongue. Dr Ashish Goel, Director - Department of Surgical Oncology performed an oral composite resection and reconstruction along with the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team.
After surgery, the patient underwent Radiation Therapy to ensure that there would be no recurrence. Dr Abhishek Gulia, Associate Director - Department of Radiation Oncology delivered radiation therapy with latest precision equipments with pin point accuracy to save the surrounding normal tissues which were not involved.
It has been more than two and half years after treatment, the patient is absolutely fine and leading a happy & normal life.
