Following the coalition’s efforts to increase the representation of researchers from low- and middle-income countries in the ACT-Accelerator Therapeutics Partnership, four coalition members have joined its workstreams. The Therapeutics Partnership, led by Unitaid and Wellcome, is one of four pillars of the WHO Access to COVID-19 Tools Accelerator and aims to develop, manufacture, and distribute effective therapeutics to prevent and treat COVID-19.
Meet Dr Sauman Singh, from the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) and the Infectious Disease Data Observatory (IDDO), India, who joined workstream 2, which focuses on markets, production, and pricing for COVID-19 medicines.
