The Alabama Department of Transportation has revealed the best look yet at its newest plan for the long-awaited I-10 Mobile River Bridge and Bayway project.

The new I-10 Mobile River Bridge and Bayway project may finally be one step closer to reality.

After years of back and forth, Mobile and Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organization members and ALDOT appear to be on the same page.

On Tuesday, ALDOT held a public meeting to announce its plan to build a $2.7 billion bridge that meets capacity and safety needs in a 5-year construction window.
