North Shore local surfer and Honolulu County Lifeguard, Tamayo Perry, 49, passed away June 23, 2024 from injuries after a shark incident at Goat Island off O'ahu. He was known for his expertise at the Banzai Pipeline and beyond, as well as an accomplished actor in major Hollywood films. Condolences to his wife, family and many friends. He will be dearly missed.
