This would take you two hours to craft, but I can do it in 25 seconds. I can get a 22-year-old with no experience to sound like me, someone with over 20 years of experience. That's the promise of this technology, and it's delivering.
To be clear, it reminds me of conversations I've had with more senior leaders at larger companies. The way they discuss Chat GPT and Generative AI resembles discussions about the early days of the internet. They express concerns about data quality and privacy. Just like how people were worried about giving access to the internet back in 1996. It's much better to have these tools than not use them.
For your information, Chat GPT doesn't steal your data or pull your company data into a "hive mind." It doesn't work that way. These discussions involve publicly available information and aren't proprietary. Chat GPT empowers role-playing and skill-building, enabling salespeople to increase their meeting opportunities rapidly.
In my first three months, I'd struggle to get as many meeting opportunities as I can now in a week. While the quality isn't the same as a live meeting, the speed and availability of tools to improve sales professionals' performance are unparalleled.
