Learn in this video what you should keep in mind when you charge the battery of your fully electric or plug-in hybrid MINI at home. Use the home charging cable that fits into a domestic socket. The LEDs on the charging module show the charging status, details are explained on the back of the module. The socket where you want to plug in your MINI charging cable needs to be checked by an electrician. Never use extension leads to connect the home charging cable to your MINI. If something is wrong and the red LED lights up, please try to reconnect the cable and restart. You can also try a different socket. But, of course, only if it’s been checked by an electrician.
