Moksha: The Final Attainment of Freedom and Enlightenment
Moksha - freedom, enlightenment, the final release. Moksha is the final attainment of Hindu life. It is constituted as the recognition of the nature of one's true self, the self that is unencumbered by mortal existence. Moksha is the total and unconditional freedom from the cyclic movement of desire, action, experience, and memory in a world samsara. Moksha is constituted as a release from separation, from the encumbrance of a separate identity and a separate existence. It is ontologically the merging, the reunion of the individual self with the supreme Brahma atma. It is complete and total self-knowledge, self-realization, the final attainment and enlightenment that all beings are seeking even when they do not recognize what it is that they're seeking. Attaining moksha. The human being becomes free fully and finally and has no more any need to come back to earthly life and to go through the pangs of Samsara again and again.
