Drs. Annette L Gardner, PRL-IHPS Affiliated Faculty and Claire D. Brindis, PRL-IHPS Director, recently spoke at the Stanford WSD Handa Center for Human Rights & International Justice on how to evaluate advocacy effectiveness using frameworks and methods described in their book, Advocacy and Policy Change Evaluation: Theory and Change (Stanford University Press, 2017). Targeted to advocates and people new to evaluation, Gardner and Brindis spoke on the imperative of knowing which advocacy tactics work and which ones do not.
