Ekaterina Kondrashina proved she had nerves of steel after this truly harrowing accident filmed on live TV left her requiring hospital treatment.
Astonished judges on the Russian version of 'So You Think You Can Dance' sat back and watched as she continued her painstaking routine for almost 30 seconds after breaking her nose on the stage.
Miss Kondrashina, who works as a fitness coach, model, dancer and yoga teacher was auditioning for the show 'Dancing' in the city of Gelendzhik, south-western Russia.
Around three quarters of the way through the performance she rapidly jumped to the ground to perform a straddle split but at the same time violently slammed her face off the stage in what seemed like a ferocious thump.
As one of the judges reacted with sheer horror, the 23-year-old not only continued but somehow managed to hide the blood from the audience and the judges.
Kondrashina said afterwards: "Luckily I have been told I do not need plastic surgery for my nose
"It does not matter how many times one falls down, what really matters is how many times one chooses to get up."
The stoic fitness fan had been practising for two months for the audition in the hope she'd win £30,000 to open a dance school in her town.
