In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how to analyze your sales content with the sales content analytics tool in HubSpot.

After creating sales templates, documents, and sequences, you can analyze their effectiveness using the sales content analytics tool. Sales content analytics tools will pull in all historical data, including any data gathered prior to upgrading from HubSpot's free tools.

In this tutorial, we will show you how you can analyze the templates sent by your users.

Steps to Follow:

Step 1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reports and click Analytics Tools.

Step 2. Click Sales Content Analytics.

Step 3. Use the Date range and Frequency dropdown menus to filter the data to a specific time range.

Step 4. This will filter the data in any tab you're in.

Step 5. If you select a rolling date range, the data set will exclude the current day.

Step 6. A week in the report starts on Sunday by default, when the date range selected consists of a week, or when the frequency is set to Weekly.

Step 7. By default, the data in the chart will be categorized by template.

Step 8. If By template is selected, click the Folder dropdown menu to filter the data to a specific folder.

Step 9. To view your data by user, click By user.

Step 10. The chart represents the data visually, organized by template or user.

Step 11. Hover over areas in the chart for more data.

Step 12. By default, the chart includes template sends, opens, clicks, and replies.

Step 13. To change which metrics appear, click Sends, Opens, Clicks, or Replies at the top of the chart.

Step 14. In the table below the chart, select the checkbox next to a template to include it in the chart.

Step 15. The table shows the data by template or user.

Step 16. To customize the metrics that appear in the table.

Step 17. In the upper right, click Edit columns.

Step 18. In the dialog box, select the checkbox for each metric you want to display.
