In this tutorial I will show you how to make a Magic 8 half square triangle block. This will give you 8 half square triangle blocks at one time. Once you know how to this you will be able to make a quilt very quickly. This tutorial is very beginner friendly and I will take you through the whole process. To come up with how big you want your half square triangles to end up at, there is an easy method to this. Just take the size square that you want it to end up at ______x2= +1 and that will give you the size of the 2 starting squares that you will need to start with to make the first half square triangle.
