Ingredients:
1. Red bell pepper - 2 medium size, chopped
2. Garlic - 3 cloves
3. Cumin - 1/2 tsp
4. Coriander seed - 1/2 tbsp
5. salt - 1/2 tsp
6. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
7. Lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp
8. Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Directions:
1. Take chopped red bell peppers with garlic and spread evenly on baking tray lined with baking paper.
2. Roast either in oven or air fryer at 180 degree celsius for 15 to 18 minutes or roast whole red bell pepper and garlic on gas for 10 to 12 minutes and then chop.
3. Take roasted bell pepper and garlic in a jar of blender and add cumin, coriander seed, salt, red chili powder, lemon juice and olive oil.
4. Blend to make smooth paste and Harissa sauce is ready.
Note:
1. You can roast bell pepper on gas/ on pan/ in air fryer/ in oven.
2. You can store this sauce in airtight container in refrigerator for several weeks.
3. You can use either red chili powder or soak red chili in water, deseed and use.
