Nakumatt Junction is set to reopen after the High Court has ordered Junction Mall management to unlock the outlet pending a hearing on the 16th of October. This gives the troubled retailer two weeks to operate at the mall under legal protection from eviction by a landlord who insists that the firm has not met all its obligations as per their agreement. Despite the relief today, Nakumatt's growing list of court cases seem to be extending beyond its trunk, as its elephant-weight debt load pulls the giant down.
