Retinal Detachment | This was a case of Retinal detachment with PVR and a posterior break for which vitrectomy is carried out. Staining with brilliant blue dye is done and ILM is peeled in detached retina over the macula and area between the macula and posterior break so as to relieve any surface traction. Perfluorocarbon liquid is injected and gradually the retina flattens. Endo laser is carried out. Air PFCL exchange is carried out.
