Found a battery powered handheld fan in the bargain store and decided to make a steerable tricycle with it.
I might convert this to radio control at some time in the future.
Main Components

Bargain Store handheld fan + batteries to suit
Small wheel to fit fan shaft
VHS video tape cassette (or CDs/DVDs)
Scrap of perspex or stiff plastic
Flower cane for axle
Drinking straw to hold the flower cane axle
Stiff wire - maybe a bicycle spoke
Paperclip
Short plastic tube - internal diameter to suit bicycle spoke
Short plastic tube - internal diameter to suit paperclip
Main Tools

Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap.
