The Indie X Film Fest Annual Awards 2023 was held last evening 6 May at the Regal Cinemas Los Angeles. Films were shortlisted from the pool of nominees and awards winners of 12 monthly rounds, between December 2021 and December 2022, chosen from 2.331 submissions from 58 countries overall.
We are so pleased to share that Timeless in the Metaverse won the Best Childrens Short. It is based on the song Timeless, in the album ALAN's Fantasy, composed by Ron J Danziger to lyrics by Christina Teenz Tan. It is about an endearing companionship between a child and its plush inanimate toy, the story created by Susan Lim and Christina Teenz Tan, and animated by Samudra Kajal Saikia. Manu Martin composed an orchestral version of Timeless which was recorded at Abbey Rd Studios with pianist Tedd Joselson and the London Symphony Orchestra for the album Lim Fantasy of Companionship for Piano and Orchestra, released on Signum records in 2021.
