There are 2 types of dialysis, one is the hemodialysis or the blood dialysis. The second ids the peritoneal dialysis or the home dialysis. So hemodialysis is where the patient goes to a dialysis Centre and undergoes 4 hours of dialysis and this is usually undergone 3 times a week but based on hos clinical condition and his financial condition, we can make it 2 times . The there is the home dialysis, where he need not go to the hospital and he can do without any equipment’s with a simple technique. This is called as peritoneal dialysis or home dialysis.
