NexGen IT Entrepreneurs Boot Camp Master Class: Under a collaborative effort supported by USAID's Egypt Competitiveness Project, the U.S. State Department's Global Entrepreneurship Program, Government of Denmark, and TIEC, affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, kicked off, on June 26, 2011, the week-long intensive and exciting IT-training program during which eleven successful American and Danish business delegates mentored 44 promising young Egyptian entrepreneurs on how to achieve business success. On the final day, June 30, the young Egyptian entrepreneurs competed against each other by pitching their business to judges among the delegates who awarded four winning startup-companies with internship at iContact in the U.S., training at Startupbootcamp in Denmark, presenting a business plan to top European investors, and training at Egypt's Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre's (TIEC) Incubation Program. The four laureates were: Bey2llak - Gamal and Mohammed Refae, Crowdit - Yasmin El Ayat and Ahmed Ellaithy, Inkezny - Sarah Hamdi and Marwan Roushdy, and Supermama- Yasmin El Mehairy and Zeinab Samir.
