Sub 9! This TAS saves 0.44 seconds over WR and 17 frames over SOB! The main optimizations are the upthrow cap return jump strat at the beginning, cap return jump instead of normal jump before slopevault (with a left home to get cappy to return at the right time), throwing cappy into the wall then doing a fast turnaround to the left to bounce earlier, and a new fork to bubble strat. It is not unlikely that the first split could be improved further in the future to get an 8.8x time.

The last split does not match the BKS time of 0.56, but this is a result of how the timer works; for example, if the second fork were captured at 8.35 instead of 8.33, the race time would be 8.91 and the split would be 0.56 instead of 0.57.
