Displays everyday life on the Chicago Adams & Wabash Station. The creative idea for this short video was inspired by the Lumiere brothers, the first filmmakers to exist. One of the many Lumiere bros films consists of a few minute-long video of an oncoming train in the distance, stopping to let passengers on and off the train, and taking off again. I borrowed their idea to represent how train systems have advanced and changed over the decades and how we use them today. I use the brown line to get from campus to classes, and vice versa, almost daily while people during the eighteen-hundreds had to use them to cross the states (which is also still used today). I also used this idea to represent the use of leading lines and how objects on camera can disappear. Thx for watching.
