Grab a lighter, a toothbrush, and toothpaste, and follow along as I show you how to defog your mask.

Don't worry about burning the non-glass area of your mask. They are made of silicone and can withstand heat. Just don't leave a flame on it for a long period of time.

Use the lighter to burn both pieces of glass. You only have to burn the inside, but I have burnt both sides and haven't seen a problem either way. After you finish burning, I like to use toothpaste to scrub them just to make sure everything is off.

Don't worry, you won't scratch the glass.

Rinse the lenses with warm water and your mask should be good to go for your first dive.

If it doesn't work, repeat the process until it does. You can also use a butane torch, but be careful as it could damage the silicone if not done correctly.
