The University of Michigan Sound Support Team's mission is to improve the quality and timeliness of care for children who are deaf and hard of hearing, including diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of hearing loss.
This series of presentations are a response from our patients and families that want to learn more about hearing loss, speech and language development, educational issues and updates in technology. This parent webinar will go over the benefits of reading with your children with hearing loss and the reasons you should be. You’ll learn techniques to help your children excel and see some examples of some of our therapy patients in action.
