This is truly a huge step forward for budget gaming, with every i3 12100f capable of pushing well over 4000MHz ram memory with minimal effort on 2 slot and 4 slotter motherboards like the B660M Mortar Max by MSI, B760M Mortar Max, Asrock B660M Riptide, Asus Apex, and Z690 Maxsun (if you don't want to OC the core itself).

For a CPU that costs sub 100$, with it's own free included cooler, you can get Esports grade responsiveness with the low low price of just 170$ for all the CPU, equipment, liquid metal, and cooler that comes to delid and relid this CPU for use. Highly recommended if you have extra cash to burn over buying a 13100f and a B760M chinesium motherboard from aliexpress. You can get you hands on good coolers from Ebay and Amazon - Tecware is recommended for basic use, make sure to sand the surface of the copper coldplates to remove the lacquer before use.

Pair this with an RTX 4070ti and enjoy gaming with barely if any bottlenecks at all in all games across the board - from Warzone 2 to CSGO to CS:2, Valorant, Tarkov, Rainbow 6 Seige, Apex Legends, PUBG and all others you can think of. I bet this even pairs well with an RTX 4090 so long as you can push the boost clock over 5.4GHz. Cyberpunk 2077 CPU for only $300 including the motherboard - what more could you ask?
