How to make the classic Pan de Coco or Coconut Buns.?
This recipe yields 10 pieces of yummy coconut buns.
Here's what you'll need:
DOUGH:
1 cup milk (250ml) (room temp) (Fresh milk, uht or coconut milk will do)
1 Whole egg
1 tsp instant yeast
1/8 cup sugar
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup softened butter
Eggwash: 1 egg yolk + 2 tablespoon milk
FILLING:
1/2Kg Brown Sugar
1Cup Dark Moscovado Sugar
1Cup Water
1 Whole Grated Coconut
