More than 100 yellow vest protesters were arrested for attempting to stage unauthorized rallies in Paris on Saturday. Around 7,000 police were mobilized in several districts including the Champs-Elysees as demonstrators marched through the streets. Dozens of metro stations were closed. This is the 45th weekend of the protests against President Emmanuel Macron's pension and welfare cuts combined with tax cuts for the rich.
