चूंकि इनक्यूबेटर को 24 घंटे बिजली की आपूर्ति की आवश्यकता होती है और इसलिए किसानों को जनरेटर या सौर और बैटरी बैकअप की आवश्यकता होती है। केरोसीन लैंप बैकअप हीट सोर्स के रूप में सपोर्ट करने वाला है जो बहुत सस्ता है और हर जगह उपलब्ध है। अंडों और नए जन्मे चूजों के साथ बिना मिलाए केरोसिन जलाने से उत्पन्न कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड गैस के सुरक्षित मार्ग के लिए यहां सबसे महत्वपूर्ण तकनीक बाई-पास प्रणाली है।
गर्मी प्रतिधारण सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, एक ट्रे के माध्यम से रेत की एक परत का उपयोग करने की सिफारिश की जाती है।

In this video I have described how kelosene lamp can be used as alternate source of heat for eggs hatching in incubator.
As incubator requires 24 hours electricity supply and hence farmers need either generator or solar and battery backup. Kerosene lamp is going to support as backup heat source which is much cheaper and available every where. The most important technology is the by-pass system used here for safe passage of carbon monoxide gas generated out of kerosene burning without mixing with the eggs and new born chicks....
For ensuring heat retention, it is recommended to use a layer of sand through a tray.
Apart from the above, I have described how to collect and select quality eggs for better hatchability percentage.
I hope, it will immensely benefit the poultry farmers in developing small hatchery.
