HOW TO PLAY Wanted: Dead (Japanese Hard Mode Strategy and Commentary). As promised, I have followed up my review of Wanted: Dead with some gameplay and commentary of the Japanese Hard Mode where I don't just say how fun the game is, but also show what the game looks like when you are digging into its systems and mechanics. It's one thing to say you like a game, but just play it for a few hours. But let it be known, at this point I'm 30 hours deep into this badboy and the footage and commentary here is from the 7th playthrough of the game. Originally I was going to try to do one massive uncut no death run of Japanese Hard Mode, but after 4 nights of playing the game until the next morning, I realized I simply do not have the time to pull this run off with all the other games and coverage I need to do ha. So instead I thought it would be cool to put together a condensed (abridged some might say) version of my run and attempts because the goal of the vid is not to show off how good of a player I am (we'll save that for other vids), but rather how good the game plays when you learn it and give it a chance. The game has really evolved in my eyes and I think you can def pickup some influences from Nioh and Sekiro, but also surprisingly I think Metal Slug as well. I wish I would have pointed out the Metal Slug similarities in my initial review, but sometimes it takes time to develop ideas about routing and so forth.
The footage shown here is recorded off my PS4 Pro (I wish I would have used my capture card though ha) and the game is currently availible on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC (Steam), but not Nintendo Switch as the Switch does not have the horsepower I suspect. I think Ninja Gaiden fans and Dead or Alive fans definetly need to give the game a chance.
