Hello everybody, this is jeff@etrailer.com. Today we'll take a look at the Timbren axle-less trailer suspension system, with the spindle and the brake flange designed for regular tires and has a 2200 pound weight capacity. Now this suspension system will provide a nice safe, smooth, quiet ride for your trailer. It does replace your complete axle, basically the trailing arm and the integrated hanger right here is what will attach the suspension to the side and the bottom of your trailer frame. They are two independent units and they can eliminate the need for a through axle. And because of that it'll give you increased ground clearance, also gives you a lower deck height for easier loading and unloading, reduces the roll during cornering and it will also fit any trailer with, I want to zoom in and show you that up close.
Basically they use these rubber AEON progressive rate main springs right here. This will absorb the road shock and support your trailer's load. They'll deliver a nice, smooth, stable ride regardless of load size and they do compress and become stiffer as the load increases, boosting your spring strength. Now when you do install these it'll give you the built-in camber in towing to help your trailer to track straight reduce wear on the tires. And at the very back here, it's hard to see but there is another rubber spring.
It's a rebound spring, and that'll act as a return device to minimize any rattle and bottoming out. It'll create constant pressure on this arm. So the suspension is never completely relaxed. The spindles you can see right here they do use a straight easy loop spindle and it does accept the Dexter 1750 pound trailer hubs. Now the hubs are not included we do sell those separately on our website but these are easy lube and what's nice about the easy lube that feature makes it easier to are easy to grease your bearings without having to remove the hub on a standard axle you'll have your hub on there with the bearings on the inside and you have to remove the nut, take everything off, grease your bearings, put it all back on.
On the easy lube what's nice is it's already if you just leave it all installed, and right here there's a grease zerk fitting on the end. You just put your grease gun on there, pump the grease in and then there's a hole right back here that the grease will go into the inside and fill the cavity for the bearings. And you don't have to remove everything to grease it. Also what's nice is these spindles are held on by four bolts and nuts. So if the spindle gets damaged or bent you can replace them easily.
Now these parts are a heavy duty steel construction. You can see they have a nice black powder coat finish on them to resist wear and corrosion. They are very easy to install on the line. They will bolt or weld to your trailer's frame. Again, these are designed to fit single axle and tandem axle trailers that just use the standard trailer tires basically the distance between the hub face and the trailer frame is designed for standard with tires. These are not recommended for triple axle applications. Weight capacity again is 2200 pounds. It does include the two suspension units without the hubs we mentioned. Now the bearings the bearing races grease seal that'll go with the hubs. Those are not included. You would have to get those separately when you get the hubs. If you do want to know the part numbers you need to fit this, they are listed on this bottom of this product page, and I'll give you the part numbers of all the bearings, bearing races and grease seal that you need.
