I have the early new generation 2017-2019 Honda Rebel. The newly re-vamped 202 rebel came out and they have more oem accessories. I really want a new seat and the 2020 offers an OEM Honda upgraded seat which ours didn't. I couldn't find anyone on the internet that tried but I thought I would try and risk purchasing the 2020 seat and try to see if it would fit. The answer is yes it does but with some modification and muscle to make it fit.

It will help if you use longer bolts to hold down the seat. I used M6x1.0.30mm hex bolts. You really have to push down hard to get them to line up and bolt them down.
