0:00 Intro
0:05 What the mechanic said regarding this clip: "early 2000s Mercedes RV it came in for a brake noise and turns out the tread come off the rear left and the rear right was bubbling out, turned out the tires were original to the vehicle, the customer originally refused any repairs but once we started to talk about forms to say we were not on the hook for any damage caused by them driving the vehicle they realized the gravity of the situation, they were going to drive from qld to Cairns like this and honestly I think we may have saved their lives, the customer was 90 something and his wife wasn't much younger looking. Thankfully they got 4 new tires and are safely on their way."
0:19 Mechanic said the following: "This came out of a Hyster forklift with a reworked Mitsubishi 2.4l LPG engine. It was also 4 liters low on oil, and it holds a little over 5 liters total. Engine was running rough and cutting off due to a contaminated fuel regulator. The dust is from rebuilding tobacco hogsheads, so it smells fantastic at least…"
0:37 Well at least they didn't litter!
0:58 I'm surprised they didn't clean it out at all to try and get more money for the vehicle, either way it's pretty disgusting trade-in. I wonder if they got less since it was so dirty inside.
1:23 Mechanic also mentioned the following: "2020 civic 5000 miles (8046 kms) expert wiring job told the customer before first oil change wiring had to be removed due to it not allowing me to drop the belly pan."
1:35 Now that's a first lol.
1:43 Worn out control arm bushing.
1:53 The washer fluid hose going to rear of vehicle is damage/punctured in a spot. Mechanic said dash would need to be removed to further inspect/repair hose.
2:03 I wonder what they hit but wow. What a nasty fuel leak!
2:09 A very bad brake fluid leak!
2:20 Not sure if that's the UK spelling for brake or not, but maybe somebody can chime in?
2:27 Weird spot for them lol. I'm surprised the mechanic didn't notice anything on his test drive.
2:36 Very bad/worn engine mounts.
2:40 A very interesting feature I wanted to share. Have you seen this before?
2:54 Outro. Thanks for watching and I appreciate you being here.
