So you've gone to the step of creating a backlink to your site by creating a Web 2.0 property (think Zimbio, Squidoo, Hub Pages, etc.) Or you've written an article or two that points back to your site and submitted them to an article directory. These are commendable steps, but they are not enough on their own to boost your main site in the SERPs.
