In the video "Not Like Us", One of the best scenes of this artistic visual shows Whitney Alford, Kendrick Lamar Fiance' doing the what some would question whether it was the "C" or "B" walk she performed in the living room. We answer that question while looking at the history of both dances.
While it's known this dance was in response to some scathing Drake lines in Family Matters. I wanted to discuss the street background and evolution of both walks. Also what meaning if any, it has with Whitney Alford doing it.
The Crip walk dance has went from Crime Scenes to day time talk shows. Rappers from Ice T to Snoop speak on this evolution. It has span over 6 decades and became the unofficial dance of the summer smash "Not Like Us".
The Blood walk was created after in Compton and Dj Quik talks about the creation and meaning.
