Forging with Wood...Almost Primitive Blacksmithing is the subject of today's video. As many of you know we are a long ways off from setting up our forge in the timber framed shop so we have to use what will work. This is a very simple forge and anybody can make one right in the back yard. It is amazing what can be done with so little, we have a habit if thinking we need a lot more than we do to get a job done. We are doing this with a half finished railroad track anvil and a backyard fire pit. Hope you enjoy, I'll catch you on the next one.
