Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at these BullRing flush fit retractable tie-down anchors for your truck bed stake pockets. These heavy-duty anchors are going to attach to your truck bed stake pockets and give you tie-down points to secure your load. Working with S-hook and J-hook connectors, these anchors are going to fit various years and versions of the Dodge Ram and Ram pickups, and Toyota Tundras. To confirm if these work for your vehicle, take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com and input the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will let you know if these will work for your vehicle or if we have something else that will work for your truck. Now, while factory anchor points are inside your bed where it can be hard to reach, these retractable anchor points install into the stake pockets on top of your bed rails, and then you simply pop the anchor ring up when you want to use it to secure a load, and, as you can see, it does indeed secure very firmly and you're not gonna have to worry about that ring accidentally sliding down. But then when you're done, you just simply push it down firmly and then it's going to be nice and flush, and that's how easy these are to use.
So again, you just pull it up and it's nice and secure, ready to use. And when you're ready to unload and you don't need them anymore, push it down, it's gonna be nice and flush. This flush fit is compatible with most tonneau covers, and these anchors have a weight capacity of 1000 pounds. They're constructed of stainless steel, so that's gonna resist rust and corrosion, and this nylon lower body is going to reduce sound. The polished stainless steel plate is gonna give you a nice classy look.
And to install these, if you have a 2009 or newer Dodge Ram, or a 2014 to 2020 Toyota Tundra CrewMax, you will have to trim your rail cap for proper installation. For easier installation on the 2009 or newer Dodge Ram, I recommend picking up the BullRing rail cap router bit and the BullRing rear pocket saw bit, and I am including our item numbers to those parts on your screen. And on your 2014 to 2020 Toyota Tundra CrewMax, you will need the BullRing rail cap router bit. Now, again, I have our item numbers to those tools on your screen, and you can just simply take those item numbers, put 'em in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com and it will take you to those tools. And again, that's gonna make it easier for you to install these on those particular vehicles, to trim out that plastic so these can fit right in.
Now, after doing any necessary trimming, you will then use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two screws in the anchor so the steel plate will drop down. So I went ahead on this anchor and I have loosened these screws. I just kind of wanted to give you a demonstration, as best as I can, as to what this would look like. So once you loosen the screws this steel plate is going to drop down. You're not gonna have to worry about it becoming detached from the ring, it's not going to become detached, it will stay on the ring.
And then you're going to place the anchor in the stake pocket at an angle, and then once you have it in that pocket you will then pull the anchor ring up, and that will then, that steel plate, will then catch the metal rail cap below. And then once you have that up you will then replace the screws and tighten down the screws until they are hand tight. Now you do not want to over tighten these, and if the plastic rail cap is starting to bend or bow then you know that you are making it too tight. So you just wanna make sure that you hand tighten them, you don't wanna over tighten them. And then that's going to be the installation and these will be ready for you to use. And this is gonna be a great and easy way to secure straps, to secure your load in the bed of your truck, gonna be very convenient. And then you can just push them down out of your way when you don't need those rings. Instructions are included and that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
