A song inspired by the stories of the people who identify themselves as the "Forgotten Australians“ the estimated 500,000 children and child migrants who experienced "care" in institutions during the 20th century. A music video version of the song, commissioned by Micah Projects and directed by award-winning film-maker Katrina Irawati Graham, is being released in mid-November 2016 to mark the 7th anniversary of the National Apology to the Forgotten Australians. Thank you to our 'Forgotten Australian' friends at Lotus Place, Brisbane, who inspired this song, and to our mate Mick Davis who got the ball rolling with his poem which gave impetus to the lyrics.
