A comparison of my 1990 BOSS CE-2 chorus and a 2022 MOOER Ensemble King chorus.

Both effects are analog.

I created a piece of music with single guitar lines, arpeggios and chords to demonstrate how the effect sounds in those contexts.

The MOOER Ensemble King chorus has a LEVEL control which the BOSS CE-2 does not have. Setting this to it's maximum matches the level of the CE-2.

The MOOER Ensemble King chorus sounded very close to my CE-2, much more than I was expecting.

I used the bridge pickup on a USA Fender Stratocaster into a Bugera T5 Infinium 5W head with Marshall 2 x 12 1936 cab for all the recorded guitar parts.
