'Rampaging Herd of Elephants Cause CHAOS in Southwest China'
A herd of elephants have been causing chaos through cities in southwest China while authorities rush to protect both the animals and people.
The elephants entered the rural suburb of Kunming, Yunnan Province on Wednesday night.
The elephants have already walked 300 miles from a nature reserve in Yunnan's mountainous southwest.
It's not clear why the 15 elephants have made their long trek.
Officials have urged locals to stay indoors and are seeking to lure the animals away with food.
No injuries have been reported, but the elephants have damaged more than $1 million worth of crops.
When and how the elephants will be returned to the reserve isn't clear.
