Take a tour around my wide field image of the Orion molecular cloud complex and Orions belt stars, featuring M78 nebula, Flame and Horsehead nebula and the Running man Nebula, zooming out to reveal the red hydrogen alpha band of Barnards loop which surrounds this awe inspiring part of the night sky.
I took this image using a remote camera in the dark skies of the Rio Hurtado Valley, Chile with a 200mm lens. 3 minute exposures of red, green, blue and Hydrogen Alpha filters were then combined and processed by myself to produce this wide field view of Orions belt and the splendid nebula contained within. make sure you chose 720p or 1080p 60fps for full resolution playback of this tour.
