Noodles are a type of food made from unleavened dough which is rolled flat and cut, stretched or extruded, into long strips or strings. Noodles can be refrigerated for short-term storage or dried and stored for future use. Noodles are usually cooked in boiling water, sometimes with cooking oil or salt added.

Korean noodles are now spread all over the world, not just in Korea. It has become very popular even in South Asian countries. For example, in the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, there are numerous shops selling Korean noodles, where Korean noodles are available as street food at very low prices.

We've made a documentary about cooking a lot of Korean noodles from one such street food shop in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
