In this video I am explaining how we use the Smap 3-D computer to custom design a scleral lens that matches exactly every “hill and valley” of the ocular surface of an eye. This technology is extremely useful in treating patients who have lost vision due to keratoconus, corneal transplant surgery, ocular trauma and refractive eye surgeries such as LASIK.
