Stagecoaches are suspended on leather straps called thoroughbraces. This assembly under the body is what rides on these thoroughbraces and allows the body to float similar to a boat on water. Since this original mud wagon coach was wrecked I have to straighten the iron and place new wood in these rocker assemblies.
