Watch as Amanda and I explore Sedona, Arizona's only Jeep Badge of Honor Trail with highlights of great times and even better views!
Schnebly Hill Trail was originally named Mund's Road after the pioneer who founded a faster route to Flagstaff. In 1900, Carl Schnebly was the first person who utilized this road as a means to transport lumber and goods back and forth to Flagstaff, he helped build up the area of Oak Creek. After establishing a post office named after his wife, Sedona, the couple became well known in the region. Mund's road had been renamed to Schnebly Hill Road and Oak Creek is now known as Sedona, Arizona. This road contains gorgeous views of the Red Rocks for people with slightly capable vehicles to enjoy.
This road has several hiking trails through it and are welcomed to share the road with other vehicles. Many tours are given using this road, and there is no shortage of amazing spots and history. Though the road has gone through decades of use, not much has changed about it which makes immersing into the history/importance of the road an easy thing to do.
I HIGHLY recommend checking this trail out as a beginner wheeler or even an experienced one. It is much more enjoyable with the tires aired down slightly and if you can, sway bar disconnected. If you do not have those things, no need to worry-you are able to trek the trail with very little issues.
We hope you enjoyed a taste of what Sedona has to offer and we hope to see you in the next video!
